Devcon 8 India

Devcon 8 India is the annual global Ethereum conference, organized by the Ethereum Foundation and held from 3 to 6 November 2026 at Jio World Centre in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex. Over four days, the event brings together the people building free, open, private, and verifiable systems through talks, workshops, hands-on experiences, cowork spaces, and art. Programming is organized into nine tracks: Core Protocol, Privacy & Consent, Security, Applied Cryptography, Permissionless Networks, Open & Verifiable Stack, Users, Builders & Agents, Rights, Freedoms & Governance, and Futures Worth Building. Confirmed speakers include Vitalik Buterin, Audrey Tang, Justin Drake, Roger Dingledine, and Sandeep Nailwal, with more announced weekly.

The conference is aimed at Ethereum developers, protocol researchers, core contributors, open-source builders, security professionals, designers, students, and artists. Mumbai is a fitting host, as India has one of the largest open-source contributor bases in the world and leads in onboarding new crypto developers. Attendees can learn what is coming next in decentralized systems, meet the communities behind them, and leave with new collaborators and ideas. Tickets are available in several tiers: General Admission is open to anyone, with anon-friendly purchase, while discounted Community and Application-based tickets are available for eligible Indian residents, students, and Sanctuary Tech Builders. Since the event overlaps with Diwali season, attendees are advised to book accommodation early.
