ETHRome 2026 is the flagship Ethereum hackathon hosted in the Eternal City, returning to Talent Garden Roma from September 11 to 13, 2026. Branded as 'the hackathon for builders by builders,' the event focuses on three core tracks for 2026: AI, DeFi, and Privacy. Beyond coding, attendees can expect an immersive experience that blends technical work with Roman culture, food, networking, and community vibes, including craft beer and side events. Building on the momentum of its 2025 edition, which drew over 250 attendees, 14 sponsors, and 65 projects, ETHRome continues to position itself as one of the most prominent grassroots Ethereum hackathons in Europe.

The event targets Web3 developers, hackers, designers, and mentors who want hands-on building experience rather than passive conference-style talks. It is ideal for early-stage builders looking to prototype new ideas in AI-driven applications, decentralized finance, and privacy-preserving technologies, as well as for sponsors and protocols (such as past partners including Base, Polkadot, 1inch, ENS, and Zama) seeking exposure to emerging talent.
