Plan ₿ Week 2026

Plan ₿ Week 2026 is a ten-day Bitcoin festival taking place across Lugano, Switzerland, from October 19 to 28, 2026. It connects the global Bitcoin community with Lugano's own Bitcoin ecosystem, built through years of real, everyday adoption in the city. The agenda spans more than 20 events at 16 venues, including an academic day launching the Scientific Bitcoin Institute, Arkade Day on financial products and Bitcoin infrastructure, security-focused sessions on self-custody and the Bitcoin Red Team, a Stablecoin Summit, capital markets discussions, the Cypher Tank startup pitch finale, BitDevs Switzerland, and a range of social events. The week builds toward the flagship Plan ₿ Forum on October 23–24 at Palazzo dei Congressi, Europe's leading conference on Bitcoin, peer-to-peer technology and free speech, which draws over 2,500 attendees. Speakers announced for the Forum include Paolo Ardoino, Elizabeth Stark, Adam Back, Saifedean Ammous, Roy Sheinfeld, Samson Mow, Stephan Livera and BTC Sessions.

The week is designed for Bitcoin builders, developers, startup founders, investors, banks and institutions, regulators, educators, researchers and enthusiasts at every level. With many events free to attend (RSVP only) and a limited Golden Ticket granting access to exclusive events, it is one of the most accessible ways to experience Bitcoin in a real-world city setting. Attendees can expect technical deep dives, policy and regulatory debate, hands-on workshops, Italian-language education at Spazio 21, networking with industry leaders, and community moments such as the Run For Hal and the Satoshi Spritz aperitivo. Whether you want to learn, build, raise capital or simply meet the people shaping Bitcoin, Plan ₿ Week brings the whole ecosystem together in one walkable city on the shores of Lake Lugano.
