Overview
Mimo (mimo.exchange) is a decentralized exchange (DEX) built natively on the IoTeX blockchain, enabling permissionless peer-to-peer trading of IOTX and XRC20 tokens via an Automated Market Maker (AMM) model. Its primary value is delivering sub-5-second trade finality, near-zero gas fees, and non-custodial liquidity mining rewards to DeFi traders and liquidity providers within the IoTeX and DePIN ecosystems.
Developed by CapitalMu, a Singapore-based fintech research organization, Mimo launched as one of the first AMM-based DEXs on IoTeX and has since evolved through multiple versions, culminating in the V3 upgrade. V3 introduced a revamped pool interface, smoother swap execution, and a formal Liquidity Mining program designed to incentivize deeper on-chain liquidity for IoTeX-native and cross-chain assets.
