Overview
ST0x is a decentralized trading infrastructure that enables 24/7 on-chain trading of tokenized U.S.-listed stocks, ETFs, and commodity trusts through non-custodial smart contract vaults on the Base blockchain. Its primary value is giving self-custodied wallet users continuous access to real-world equity exposure without relying on traditional market hours or a centralized custodian holding their funds.
The platform operates through a dual-entity structure: S01 Issuer GmbH, registered in Berlin, issues the tokenized securities under a base prospectus approved by the Financial Market Authority of Liechtenstein, while SarkX (BVI) Ltd manages the decentralized order matching and execution engine. Tokens traded on ST0x represent wrapped vault shares, and the Issuer holds a corresponding hedge position in the underlying security with a regulated U.S. broker-dealer. ST0x launched a closed beta in mid-2025, went live with tokenized equity trading on Base, and has pursued exchange data listings such as CoinGecko for its issued assets.

Trading executes autonomously via public smart contracts on Base, allowing continuous 24/7 order execution across supported markets.
