Overview
Mantle Network is an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain protocol that leverages ZK validity proofs and modular architecture to deliver institutional-grade scalability, fast finality, and a full on-chain financial ecosystem governed by MNT token holders. Mantle Network originated from the merger of BitDAO and Mantle, inheriting one of the largest on-chain treasuries in the blockchain industry. Launched on mainnet in July 2023, Mantle has rapidly expanded its ecosystem to include over 200 dApp partnerships, 10 million unique wallet addresses, and 175 million processed on-chain transactions. In September 2025, Mantle deployed OP-Succinct on mainnet, transitioning from an optimistic rollup to a ZK validium powered by Succinct's SP1 zkVM, cementing its position as a technically advanced L2 platform with deep institutional integration.
