Overview
Robinhood Chain is a permissionless, Ethereum-compatible Layer-2 blockchain built by Robinhood on Arbitrum's Orbit (Dedicated Blockchains) framework to host tokenized real-world assets such as stocks, ETFs, commodities, and treasuries. Its primary value is enabling continuous, round-the-clock access to these traditionally market-hour-bound assets through a fast, low-cost, EVM-compatible network directly connected to the Robinhood Wallet.
Robinhood Chain launched its public mainnet on July 1, 2026, unveiled at a keynote event in London. It arrived with tokenized stock trading, a DeFi lending product called Robinhood Earn, and wallet access extended to more than 120 countries. The network runs on Arbitrum's rollup technology, settling transaction data back to Ethereum for security while using ETH as its native gas token. Chainlink was adopted as the chain's official oracle and cross-chain data provider from day one, supplying price feeds and interoperability infrastructure for Robinhood-issued assets.
Performance
First-come-first-served sequencing and Layer-2 batching reduce fees versus Ethereum mainnet while retaining EVM compatibility for developers.
Web
Accessed natively through Robinhood Wallet or any EVM-compatible wallet configured with Robinhood Chain's network details.
